Basic Details
- Compound flavors, produce extracts and blends
- Perform analytical testing
- Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Use laboratory notebooks to compound formulas and create sample products for evaluation
- Prepare samples of raw materials, intermediates and finished products for customers
- Perform raw material testing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, etc.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Color vision (ability to detect color) required due to need to daily compare color difference in products
